Las
Ramblas
course
information
Located between two ravines on the shore of the Mediterranean,
next to a luxury housing estate,
this course requires the player
to use great precision when
hitting the ball, as both
fairways and greens are narrow
and demanding. This 18-holer
is on mountainous ground,
which makes the course very
interesting for players who
like to take a few risks.
As it is very mountainous,
it calls for difficult strokes.
It is worth mentioning the
many trees that surround the
course, and the water hazards.
There are slopes all along
the course and although some
of them are very difficult,
they make the game more
attractive
and interesting. The most spectacular
is the 4 hole a par 5 with 483 named
"la plataforma", hole
of absolute precision, that has
two water hazards before the green.
The course is not too long and has
wonderful views. Accuracy is required.
But in our opinion, due to the orography
it is necessary to use a buggie.
Inaugurated
in 1991, Las Ramblas was designed
by famous Spanish golf architect
José Gancedo. It is 5914
metres long and par 72.
