3 kilometres from the city
of Alicante this is an urban
course. It has one round of
18 holes and another one of
9, which makes it great for
all players. There is also
a practice course with covered
tees on two levels and capacity
for 120 places, an approach
course, a putting green and
an international golf school.
The 18-hole round has a par
of 72, the 9-holer is made
up of par-3’s and there
is another 18-hole course
in the pipeline. The course
is liberally covered with
vegetation and the quality
of the design and the excellent
condition of the greens and
fairways really stand out.
The rounds
are
suitable to the requirements and
level of all players and so it is
a fantastic place for all the family.
The complex boasts a 5-star hotel
and there is no shortage of alternative
accommodation in nearby hotels,
flats and houses.
Designed
by Manuel Ferri Sanchez and opened
in 1993, El Plantio Golf Club has
36,000 trees and 3 lakes.
